Simply because game of the year doesn't come down to what had the highest score. Game of the year is what was the most fun. When reviewing you still have to look at the technical and also how long, etc. Hope that explains it enough for ya ;)

Slasherthrasher, if dead space is your goty and it has a 9, why did you give fallout 3 a higher score? p.s: I agree with you on fallout 3. I also had an incredible time with it.

I have Fallout 3, but I'm having a hard time getting used to the controls and the VATS system. I'm currently taking time to read the manual though. I wish they had a better in-game tutorial system than they do. I hate having to break away from the game and read the manual.I was thinking about giving up on this game. But after watching your review, I will hang tough with it for a while longer. Nice review!
